The sky began to clear around 5pm and a beam of sunlight ignited a spiderweb. Because I was shooting through a window screen I got diffraction stars as well as iridescence. Wood ducks took over the turtle log on the lake. A flock of Canada geese paddled downstream past mallard pairs dabbling for supper. A great blue heron perched on a post to preen. Sunset was very orange.
