It was a very nice day for a swim, even with a headcold. A big mulch roach was riding on the pool thermometer. I only rescued a couple of beetles, but was amused by a fat skink that ambled around the patio as though it owned the place. A red spotted purple made a brief appearance. The chrysalises were unchanged and the remaining
Argiope and orchard spiders had not moved.
