The rain settled in for the day and made a thin fog. Wind gusts got everything wet. In the morning a titmouse visited the feeder and a wren perched on a chair back. When we returned mid afternoon, chickadees swarmed the feeder, joined by a male house finch. At least three doves poked around below. Sodden squirrels went by with nuts to bury. A few gulls patrolled the creek. The water on the windows ruined most photos. Thursday, October 1, 2015
