Today was predicted to be cloudy but I'm not disappointed the prediction was wrong. Sunrise colored clouds rose, then gold. The creek reflections picked up the warm early light. Warblers and woodpeckers both wanted suet and white throats headed for sunflower seeds.
At lunch time pelicans were fishing with some success. The first daffodils have blossomed. The temperature was brisk but not too cold or windy for sitting. I could hear a variety of bird songs. Squirrels were canoodling in the bushes.The clouds arrived during the afternoon. Evening brought sprinkles and night rain.
