This time it was a large flock of geese. Unlike the silent cormorants, geese announce themselves, honking all the way. They also form more precise formations.It is still gloomy, cold, and gusty, but it is drying out. The seed eaters are busy on the feeder. We finally got the hummingbird feeder clean and put it back out. This cardinal doesn't seem to understand where the seeds are. Unless it thinks it's Snoopy?
The argiope is still lurking by the porch light. I got a glimpse of a flicker this morning.
