Light rain ended quickly. Finches and the squirrel with the white spot came out.Rain continued off and on. Heavy clouds are hanging under the general overcast. Cardinals, chickadees, and titmice are visiting the feeder. The titmouse is holding a seed on the perch to hull it.
The clouds began to clear in the afternoon and it was sunny by 4pm. But clouds linger on the horizon. Coming home at dusk, I saw the first firefly of this year.
