Since 1/1/11 I have been describing what I see in the back yard. I occasionally digress.

Another warm, beautiful day
The creek at dawn was a glowing mirror. I saw a wren and a warbler and both kinds of woodpecker around the feeders, and hooded mergansers on the water.
On my way to an evening meeting I drove into the sunset. I reached the I264/64 interchange just after 6pm and got to see the gigantic flock of crows swirling through the pink sky. (I did not try to take a photo while on the freeway!) Coming home after dark I noticed that all the flags were blowing straight out. The clouds obscured the sky.
