I got up late. There was a rain shower about 8am. A hummer made repeated visits but was scared off by a squirrel that climbed the post to try to rob the seed feeder. Cardinals were still courting.A quite attractive slime mold was growing on the fresh mulch. The wasps were still busy with the rue. Heavier rain fell around lunch time.
By mid afternoon it was dry enough to mow.
