The patio got a power wash in the morning which no doubt disturbed the local wildlife. The dogwood that has unusual buds was just opening them. We saw a skink at lunch, but I wasn't fast enough with the camera. Wasps and yellow jacket queens were on the prowl. Turtles were happy.
The afternoon was hot, humid and increasingly overcast. Still, the thunderstorm didn't arrive until well after dark, but when it did, rain hammered the windows.
