It was sunny and in the 60s and the wind wasn't too harsh. Downy woodpeckers, white throated sparrows and a pine warbler visited. A crow feasted on something dubious up in a tree. A site that tracks hummingbird sightings showed a couple in our corner of Virginia. So I put out hummer feeders, relocated the suet, and hung a birdhouse. The woodpeckers had not found the suet yet when it got dark.
