Once we got home for lunch and had time to observe. A black swallowtail made the herb rounds. I walked out front just in time to see crows driving off an eagle. Then a white breasted nuthatch perched on the neighbors' pine tree.
The blueberries are green and swelling. A couple of great blue herons flew over the house headed North. A carpenter bee investigated all the roses. A fledgling finch begged its parent for food.
Egrets were out fishing in the evening.
