Wet and gray

Not much was stirring.  The miniature day lily bloomed for a second time.  It was blooming when I bought it and I figured that was it for the summer but it surprised me.  The scarlet runner bean finally produced a couple of blossoms.  Rain diluted the hummer juice so the bird turned up her beak.  A fungus appeared at the foot of the oak.  And that was all for a dreary, meeting-filled day,
